Kevin Matthew is a local businessman who has spent the past 30 years supporting a number of local charities, individuals and causes, raising an incredible £250,000 for Aldershot and Farnborough charities. He has taken part in hundreds of fundraising events from sky dives to 100-mile cycle rides and been the main sponsor of Picnic to Music in the Park for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

Central Heating Services (CHS) were this week presented with an award by The Community Matters Partnership Project in recognition of the awe-inspiring support the company gives to the community.
CHS are highly regarded for their outstanding work which is making a huge difference within the community. In the past year alone, this commitment has helped numerous projects and local charities as well as providing support to many individuals.
Central Heating Services last week donated a cheque to the Woking & Sam Beare Hospices for £1200.00.
The money will go towards funding a trip for the Tommy D group for bereaved young people to travel to Surin, Thailand, to volunteer within the local community and help vulnerable children.
The 6 teenagers, who have all suffered a close personal loss, will travel along with Children's Services Manager Julie Cole and a team of volunteers to renovate the local school, care for very young children in a day care centre and work at an Elephant sanctuary in Northern Thailand.

The sun shone brightly on a gorgeous day in Fleet for the Central Heating Services charity Golf Day, raising money for Aldershot based young people's charity, The Source, and supporting Emilie's journey, with a donation towards the wish list of this very special 10 year old as she fights her battle with leukaemia. Suppliers and associates of CHS gathered to take part in the event, which was once again hosted courtesy of the NE Hants Golf Club. Mixed teams of four including club junior, battled it out on the 18-hole course in an attempt to become champions
Central Heating Services will be hosting their annual charity golf day on Monday 27th October 2014 to raise money for Aldershot based charity, The Source who run projects and programmes for young people in Aldershot.
The event will be held at North Hants Golf Club and will be run in conjunction with the juniors of the club. 22 teams will compete in the competition with each team comprising of one junior and three seniors.
