Central heating Services, an Award Winning Company, become the fifteenth organisation to join this partnership which came into existence in January 2011. Since that time, not for profit groups in Rushmoor will have benefited from an investment by CMP members of over £300,000 through fund raising, volunteering and skills swapping.
The CMP partnership focus on raising aspirations in young people and each member commits to using what they have to help raise aspirations of the young. Between them, the partnership will over the next 12 months raise £50,000 through company fundraising to support nominated project, The Gaming Zone. The Gaming Zone work with children and young people living in: North Town, Tices Meadow and the Totland estate to provide activities and programmes to help raise aspirations.
In joining CMP, CHS employees will have the opportunity to work with a large team of volunteers from different workplaces to tackle various community projects across Rushmoor. Representatives of CHS will join counterparts from business, the council, colleges, and housing associations to support not for profit groups to meet the needs of the Borough. 'This really is great news for Rushmoor,' said a spokesperson for CMP. 'Working in partnership with great companies like CHS is very effective. No one single organisation can have the impact that we are able to achieve through working together as a team. CMP are delighted to welcome CHS to this group"
