Established in 1986 Central Heating Services continues to engage with government schemes and launch new initiatives. One recent example is the company’s electrical services division, launched last year and expected to record turnover in excess of 1 million in 2013.
Its engineers are qualified to install solar thermal and air-source heat pump systems, allowing clients to take advantage of the government’s Renewable Heat Premium Payment scheme. All engineers are asbestos aware, with several achieving P402 certification. Testing for legionella is also provided by the company, as part of its focus on all relevant health and safety aspects.
The company has created a gas and electrical services quality audit division to provide social housing landlords with an internal and independent external quality inspection service. The CHS environmental management services is accredited to ISO 14001:2004 by BM TRADA, is externally audited and includes rigorous fleet management to improve efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. We were also Highly Commended as Installer of the Year.
